The Viridescent Venerer and Maiden Beloved artifact set are obtained by defeating the Valley of Remembrance located in Mondstadt. Here are some general tips on clearing the domain and the best and worst characters to use these artifacts on!
Valley of Remembrance

The Valley of Remembrance is a domain where people seek their last past and forgotten memories. The Viridescent Venerer artifact set belonged to a hunter who lost her path in human civilization. While the Maiden Beloved belonged to a maiden who is waiting for her knight to return to her side. This domain is locked until you reach Adventurer Rank 25.
The ley line of this domain gives your entire party a buff to their Physical DMG by 75%. This disorder power-ups your character’s normal attack by a good chunk, allowing you to bring any character that has their normal talent leveled up. Any DPS unit like Diluc or Razor would work well for this domain. I recommend bringing a Cryo character like Chongyun to deal with the Fatui Electro Cicin Mage in the later stages, especially since she can summon an Electro shield to protect her while dealing damage to your team. Bringing a healer is also recommended because of the high damage dealt by both the Fatui Agent and Mage.
When taking on the enemies on the later floors, make sure to take out the Treasurer Hoarders first to prevent them from throwing their elemental potions at you. Cryo Potioneers are especially deadly because they leave a Cryo AoE field that can be annoying to deal with.
Viridescent Venerer

Viridescent Venerer Artifact Set
2-Piece Bonus: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%
4-Piece Bonus: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent’s Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.
The Viridescent Venerer artifact set grants the user a boost to their Anemo DMG and increases their Swirl DMG while decreasing the enemies’ Elemental RES of the element absorbed. This artifact is best equipped to an Anemo character that specializes in reaction damage and can reliably trigger the Swirl reaction. All Anemo characters can benefit from the 2-piece bonus, but only certain characters can fully benefit from the 4-piece bonus.
Sucrose can benefit from both the 2-piece and 4-piece bonus of the Viridescent Venerer. All of Sucrose’s skillset can deal Anemo DMG, giving Sucrose a +15% boost to all of her attacks with the 2-piece bonus. The enemy’s elemental resistance will also decrease depending on the element Sucrose’s elemental burst absorbs. Sucrose’s elemental mastery bonus and the 4-piece effect of the Viridescent Venerer pair well together, making her Swirl reactions deadly to enemies that are pulled in by her burst.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
DPS: 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale and Viridescent Venerer / 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Venti is another powerful support character that can benefit from both set bonuses of the Viridescent Venerer. His charged attack can deal Anemo DMG, along with both his elemental skill and burst. The 4-piece bonus is especially useful with Venti’s burst as it gathers enemies to deal continuous Anemo DMG while keeping them grouped up together in midair.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
DPS: 4-piece Wanderer’s Troupe
The Traveler is the first Anemo character you can obtain within the game. They are the first character you have access to, but many players leave them behind in favor of other characters. The Traveler’s skill set allows him to act as an Anemo support character that can perform crowd control. He can benefit from the 4-piece set if acting as a support unit for your team. As the main DPS, you can go for a mix of the Viridescent Venerer and Gladiator’s Finale set or a full Gladiator’s Finale set.
Main DPS: 2-piece Viridescent Venerer and Gladiator’s Finale / 4-piece Gladiator’s Finale
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Jean’s main use of the Viridescent Venerer will be the 2-piece bonus that will boost the damage from her elemental skill and burst. Jean can run the 4-piece if you are focusing on reaction damage for your teammates. However, the Viridescent Venerer is best used for a support or burst build, as her normal attack can’t deal Anemo DMG when used as main DPS.
Burst: 2-piece Viridescent Venerer and Noblesse Oblige
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Main DPS: 4-piece Gladiator’s Finale / 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale Bloodstained Chivalry.
Xiao cannot trigger a sufficient amount of Swirl DMG with his skills to benefit from the 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set. Xiao won’t be relying on reaction damage at all, but can still deal massive damage to the enemies with his plunging attacks. His burst will convert his attacks in Anemo DMG, so the best option for him is a mix between the Viridescent Venerer and Gladiator’s Finale.
Main: 2-piece Viridescent Venerer and Gladiator’s Finale
Kazuha has a powerful elemental burst and skill that can trigger Swirl and deal elemental damage of the element he Swirls with. His elemental skill also has a short cooldown, allowing him to reliably deal Anemo DMG to enemies.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Sayu can benefit from the 4-piece set to increase her Swirl reaction and help decrease the elemental resistance of enemies.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Heizou can easily apply Swirl to enemies and benefit from the resistance spread and Anemo DMG bonus from the Viridescent Venerer set.

Maiden Beloved

Maiden Beloved Artifact Set
2-Piece Bonus: Character Healing Effectiveness +15%
4-Piece Bonus: Using an Elemental Skill or Burst increases healing received by all party members by 20% for 10s.
The Maiden Beloved artifact set increases the character’s healing effectiveness and the healing received by the team after the wearer uses an elemental skill or burst. This set is the perfect artifact for the healer of your team to boost their healing output. The Maiden Beloved is only useful to characters that have health regeneration in their skill set.
Both Barbara’s elemental skill and burst can heal herself and the entire party. This allows her to fully utilize the 4-piece Maiden Beloved to boost her healing output. As a healer, Barbara’s main concern will be to keep the party healthy. Since she doesn’t need to worry about her damage output, this set is the perfect one for her. Barbara’s healing will scale off of her Max HP.
Healer: 4-Maiden Beloved
Noelle can serve the role of a healer when her elemental skill is in effect. When she is protected by her shield, Noelle has a 50% chance to heal the entire party. This chance becomes 100% with her constellation 1 effect. Without her C1, Noelle’s potential as a healer is limited. Her healing effect also requires her to stay on the field to attack, which limits the screentime of your DPS character. Noelle’s healing scales off her DEF, so she won’t be able to deal a lot of damage without the aid of her C6 effect.
Healer: 4-Maiden Beloved
Qiqi can make full use of the 4-piece Maiden Set since both her burst and skill can heal. However, Qiqi’s healing output is already decent without the use of the Maiden Beloved set. She can act as a healer and damage dealer for your team since her healing scales off her ATK. If you want to make her a full healer, go for the 4-piece Maiden Beloved. If not, then there are other options listed below that will offer a mix of both attack power and healing.
Combat Healer: 2-piece Blizzard Strayer and Maiden Beloved / 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale and Maiden Beloved
Healer: 4-piece Maiden Beloved
Diona’s elemental burst is able to heal the team over time as long as they stand within its range. A 4-piece Maiden Beloved set will increase Diona’s healing potential. Her elemental skill is also capable of shielding the team against damage, allowing her to further support the team. Diona’s burst does require a lot of energy, so her burst might not fully heal the team in a tight situation.
Healer: 4-Maiden Beloved
Cryo Support: 2-piece Maiden Beloved and Blizzard Strayer
Support: 4-piece Noblesse Oblige / 2-piece Noblesse Oblige and Maiden Beloved
Bennett can heal any character standing within his burst. However, his healing can only go heal up to 70% of the character’s HP. A 4-piece Maiden Beloved will not be effective on him and will hinder his support ability. Bennett should be equipped with the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige to serve as a support for your other characters. His healing is already good enough without the use of the Maiden Beloved set. Bennett’s healing scales off his Max HP.
Support: 4-piece Noblesse Oblige
Xingqiu is another support character that will be hindered by the 4-piece Maiden Beloved set. Xingqiu will heal the current character when his Rain Sword shatters or expires with his ascension 1 talent. This works with both his elemental skill and burst as they both summon his Rain Swords. Since the healing will only work for the current character, Xingqiu’s role as a healer is limited. Xingqiu’s Rain Sword will only heal 6% of his Max HP.
Support: 4-piece Noblesse Oblige / 2 piece Heart of Depth and Noblesse Oblige
Jean’s burst can heal all party members when they are standing inside it. However, like Qiqi, her healing scales off her ATK and is capable of healing a lot of HP without the use of the 4-piece Maiden Beloved. Using this set can hinder her support and DPS as well. Jean can also only heal through her burst.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Healer: 4-Maiden Beloved
Main DPS: 4-piece Gladiator’s Finale
Sayu can heal with her elemental burst and skill if you have her ascension talent activated. The Maiden Beloved will help boost the amount of health she heals her party.
Support: 4-piece Viridescent Venerer
Healer: 4-Maiden Beloved
