Background

Naganohara Yoimiya is a 5-star Pyro Bow user from the region of Inazuma. She first appears within the main story where she is seen hiding vision holders to stop them from getting captured.
Yoimiya is the current owner of Naganohara Fireworks and is one of the best pyrotechnicians in Inazuma. As a fireworks maker, she takes customer satisfaction as her top priority. No matter the problem, Yoimiya will always do her best to help out her customers. All customers are also given a copy of the firework ingredients needed in their original fireworks, so they can be recreated in the future!
Her fireworks are known throughout all of Inazuma, and will always bring a smile to anyone’s face. She is also beloved by everyone on Narukami Island, especially children, due to her friendly nature.
Yoimiya is described as a bright and cheerful person, but tends to be unprepared at times. She also tends to speak really fast and is always raring to go. The only time she can be seen quiet is when a firework lights up the night sky.
Naganohara Yoimiya Skill Talents
Yoimiya’s skill set consists of her using a variety of arrows to boost her DPS and support abilities. She comes with a charged homing attack, infused Pyro DMG, and explosion damage triggered by her teammates.

Naganohara Yoimiya’s normal attack, Firework Flare-Up, will perform up to 5 attacks using her bow. Her 5th attack will deal the most damage, while her 1st and 4th attack will hit 2x for less damage. With her charged attack, Yoimiya will charge up with flames and has different effects depending on how long it was charged before she fires it.
At charge 1, she fires off a fire arrow that will deal Pyro DMG.
At charge 2, Yoimiya creates up to 3 Kindling Arrows, based on the amount of time she has been charging her shot. The Kindling Arrows will home in on nearby enemies to deal Pyro DMG. Although her normal attack does not have much to offer on its own, Yoimiya’s charged attack allows her to fire Pyro DMG at the enemies without aiming.

Yoimiya’s elemental skill, Niwabi Fire-Dance, allows her to enter into the Niwabi Enshou state. While in this state, Yoimiya’s normal attack will convert into Blazing Arrows and deal increased Pyro DMG. She will not be able to fire off Kindling Arrows with her charged shots while in this state. The effect will end when the duration is over or when Yoimiya leaves the field. This skill has a cooldown of 18 seconds and a duration of 10 seconds. There will be 8 seconds where Yoimiya will have to rely on her charged attack to deal Pyro DMG. Yoimiya’s elemental skill is designed to work with her normal attack and ascension talent to increase her overall Pyro DMG. Her skill doesn’t have a lot of energy recharge on her own, and Yoimiya will greatly benefit from having another Pyro character on the team or an energy recharge battery.

Yoimiya’s elemental burst, Ryuukin Saxifrage, will launch Yoimiya into the air to fire off a rocket to deal AoE Pyro DMG and mark 1 enemy with Aurous Blaze. While marked with Aurous Blaze, any attacks dealt by other party members will create an explosion that will deal AoE Pyro DMG. One explosion can occur every 2 seconds. Yoimiya’s attack will not trigger this explosion. This mark will also transfer to another enemy if that enemy is defeated before the 10 second duration ends. The effects will automatically end when Yoimiya is defeated. Unlike her first two skills, her burst is a supportive skill that greatly depends on her teammates to trigger the explosion. Her burst has a cool down of 15 seconds and an energy requirement of 60.
In co-op, Yoimiya is an versatile character to play as she has both support and DPS skills. She can deal Pyro DMG herself with her normal attack and elemental skill, while providing an attack buff for the team with her burst. Yoimiya’s burst also depends on her team to fully utilize as its explosion cannot be triggered by herself.
Naganohara Yoimiya Passive Talents

Yoimiya’s passive talent will greatly benefit players who like to decorate their teapots. Her ascension talents offer a good balance between increasing her own damage while supporting her team with an ATK buff.
Yoimiya’s passive talent, Blazing Match, gives her a guaranteed chance to refund a portion of the materials used to create furniture in the teapot. It is great for players who are constantly creating furniture for their teapots, but doesn’t have any benefits outside of your realm.
Her ascension 1 talent, Tricks of the Trouble-Maker, allows Yoimiya to increase her Pyro DMG after using her normal attack with her elemental skill active. This effect will last for 3 seconds, but can have up to 10 stacks. This talent will overall boost Yoimiya’s Pyro DMG, every time she fires a Pyro-infused shot!
Yoimiya’s ascension 4 talent, Summer Night’s Dawn, grants nearby party members an ATK buff when she uses her elemental burst. This buff will not affect Yoimiya, but will increase the team’s ATK for 15 seconds. This buff can also be increased, depending on the number of stacks from her first ascension talent, Tricks of the Trouble-maker. This allows Yoimiya to give a 15%-25% increase to the team’s attack, depending on the number of shots she fires out!
Yoimiya gets a Crit Rate bonus based on her ascension rank.
Blazing Match Unlocked Automatically When Yoimiya crafts Decoration, Ornament, and Landscape-type Furnishings, she has a 100% chance to refund a portion of the materials used. |
Tricks of the Trouble-Maker Unlocked at Ascension 1 During Niwabi Fire-Dance, shots from Yoimiya’s Normal Attack will increase her Pyro DMG Bonus by 2% on hit. This effect lasts for 3s and can have a maximum of 10 stacks. |
Summer Night’s Dawn Unlocked at Ascension 4 Using Ryuukin Saxifrage causes nearby party members (not including Yoimiya) to gain a 10% ATK increase for 15s. Additionally, a further ATK Bonus will be added on based on the number of “Tricks of the Trouble-Maker” stacks Yoimiya possesses when using Ryuukin Saxifrage. Each stack increases this ATK Bonus by 1%. |
Naganohara Yoimiya Constellations

Naganohara Yoimiya’s constellations consists of a variety of effects that will boost her overall Pyro DMG.
At C1: Agate Ryuukin, Yoimiya’s Auros Blaze will last for an extra 4 seconds so her teammates can deal 2 more explosions. This constellation will also increase Yoimiya’s ATK for 20 seconds when the marked enemy is defeated. Overall, this is an excellent constellation to go along with her burst. Its attack boost will Yoimiya’s DPS with her normal attack.
C2: A Procession of Bonfires boosts her Pyro DMG for 6 seconds when Yoimiya lands a critical hit. This effect will also work when she is not on the field, which can increase the explosion damage from her burst. With her built-in Crit Rate increase, landing a critical hit with any of her Pyro DMG shots can be easily triggered.
Yoimiya’s elemental skill has a long cooldown of 18 seconds. C4: Pyrotechnic Professional will decrease that cooldown by 1.2 seconds whenever her Aurous Blaze triggers an explosion. This constellation will depend on how many times her teammates trigger her burst explosion, but is helpful to allow her to reduce the cooldown of her elemental skill.
At C6: Naganohara Meteor Swarm, Yoimiya will generate 1 Kindling Arrow when she is using her elemental skill. This only has a 50% chance to occur and will deal 60% of the original arrows’ damage. This constellation isn’t all that exciting, as it is only 1 arrow that won’t always be triggered. However, it will help boost her DPS when she is using her normal attack when it is activated.
Constellation Levels | Effects |
---|---|
C1: Agate Ryuukin | The Auros Blaze created by Ryuukin Saxifrage lasts for an extra 4s. Additionally, when an opponent affected by Aurous Blaze is defeated within its duration, Yoimiya’s ATK is increased by 20% for 20s. |
C2: A Procession of Bonfires | When Yoimiya’s Pyro DMG scores a CRIT Hit, Yoimiya will gain a 25% Pyro DMG Bonus for 6s. This effect can be triggered even when Yoimiya is not the active character. |
C3: Trickster’s Flare | Increases the Level of Niwabi Fire-Dance by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C4: Pyrotechnic Professional | When Yoimiya’s own Aurous Blaze triggers an explosion, Niwabi Fire-Dance’s CD is decreased by 1.2. |
C5: A Summer Festival’s Eve | Increases the Level of Ryuukin Saxifrage by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C6: Naganohara Meteor Swarm | During Niwabi Fire-Dance, Yoimiya’s Normal Attacks have a 50% chance of firing an extra Kindling Arrow that deals 60% of its original DMG. This DMG is considered Normal Attack DMG. |
Recommended Builds
Main DPS

This build for Yomita focuses on her normal attack and its ability to deal Pyro DMG on enemies. When her elemental skill is active, she will use her Blazing Arrows during her normal attack to deal Pyro DMG. While waiting for her elemental skill to reset, Yoimiya will want to use her homing charged attack to deal Pyro DMG instead.
During her elemental skill, you will also want to make use of her ascension talent to increase her Pyro DMG after she fires off her normal attack. Yoimiya’s burst is optional for this build as she can not trigger the explosion herself and requires her teammates to hit the marked enemy.
For Yoimiya’s teammates, both Bennett and Xingqiu will act as support. Bennett will heal and increase her attack with his burst. He and Yoimiya will also activate the Pyro team buff to increase the party’s ATK. Xingqiu will apply Hydro to enemies to trigger the Vaporize reaction. His burst will also deal Hydro damage along with Yoimiya’s normal attack. The last slot on your team is up to you. Having a shield creator like Diona or Zhongli will allow Yoimiya to better survive close-range combat.
Yoimiya’s recommended 5-star weapon is the Thundering Pulse. This weapon has a stat boost in Crit DMG and ATK boost in its passive skill. This weapon will boost Yoimiya’s normal attack damage based on the amount of Thunder Emblem stacks she has. She can gain 3 stacks by casting her elemental skill, dealing damage with her normal attack, and having her energy less than full. It will be easy to keep Yoimiya at two stacks, but her elemental skill does have a long cooldown, so she will be unable to have this stack for 8 seconds. Each stack has its own duration and can only be counted once to trigger the buff.
Yoimiya can also use the Amos’ Bow and Skyward Harp in this build. The Amos’ Bow will increase her normal attack and aimed shot damage while providing a buff to her attack. The Skyward Harp has a Crit Rate and Crit DMG buff and has a chance to deal physical AoE damage to the enemy when they are hit. The Crit Rate increase from the Skyward Harp and Yoimiya’s ascension boost will allow her to fully focus on Crit DMG in her artifact stats.
For her recommended 4-star weapon, the new craftable weapon Hamayumi will work decently with Yoimiya’s skill set. This weapon boosts Yoimiya’s ATK and will increase both her normal and charged attacks. It will further increase it when her energy is full, but this effect won’t always be triggered due to her recommended artifact set. The craftable Prototype Crescent can also be used to increase her ATK, but requires you to hit an enemy’s weak point to gain the movement speed and attack buff.
Likewise, the 4-star Rust also increases ATK and normal attack damage. However, it will decrease Yoimiya’s damage when she uses her charged attack. The Alley Hunter is decent, but requires a shield character to be viable. This weapon has a passive boost in Crit Rate. Its skill increases ATK and Crit DMG every 4 seconds a character is in the field for up to 5 stacks. This boost will not reset when the character leaves the field, but will disappear after Yoimiya takes damage.
If you have access to the battle pass, The Viridescent Hunt is another viable option. This weapon increases Crit Rate and has a chance to generate a cyclone that will pull in enemies and deal damage. You can also buy the Blackcliff Warbow from the shop. This weapon increases her overall Crit DMG, but she will need to defeat an enemy first before she can obtain the attack buff from its passive skill.
In the early game, use the Sharpshooter’s Oath, Messenger, or Raven Bows. Both the Sharpshooter’s Oath and Messenger increases Crit DMG, but relies on you hitting an enemy’s weak point before its passive skill will trigger. The Ravens Bow will boost elemental mastery and increase damage against enemies affected by Pyro or Hydro.
Yoimiya’s recommended artifact set is the Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, granting her +18% attack and increased normal/charged/plunging attack damage after casting her elemental skill. The only downside to this artifact set is that she will lose 15 energy every time she casts her elemental skill. At C0, Yoimiya won’t be heavily affected by this effect due to her burst not affecting the use of her normal attack and elemental skill. If you would like to still make use of her burst, consider a 4-piece Crimson Heart of Flames for reaction damage or Lavawalker for non-reaction Pyro DMG. You can also boost just her ATK and Pyro DMG with a 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale/Shimenawa’s Reminiscence and a Crimson Witch of Flames set.
In the early game, use a 4-piece Martial Artist to boost her normal and charged attack damage.
Yoimiya’s artifact stats should be:
- Sands: ATK%
- Goblet: Pyro DMG%
- Circlet: Crit DMG%
Energy recharge in the sub-stats is only needed if you plan on using her burst often. Her burst isn’t needed in a Main DPS build and doesn’t offer much DPS-wise. Elemental mastery is also only important for reaction damage. Look for mainly ATK% or Crit DMG% in her sub-stats. Crit Rate will also be good, but don’t add too much as Yoimiya already has a built-in Crit Rate bonus when you ascend her.
Burst Support Build

Yoimiya can also act as a burst support for her team. However, her elemental skill doesn’t generate a lot of energy so she will need the help of an energy recharge battery or energy recharge stats on her weapon and artifacts. When her burst is active, Yoimiya will mark the enemy with Aurous Blaze. When another teammate besides Yoimiya hits the marked enemy, an explosion will occur and deal damage to them. Using her burst will also give nearby teammates an ATK buff. Yoimiya’s burst does not work well with her Main DPS kit, as she can not trigger the explosion herself or gain the ATK buff.
For her teammates, you will want an energy batter like the Electro Traveler or Fischl to help charge up Yoimiya’s burst. Fischl can also deal passive Electro DMG with her elemental skill. Beidou works great with Yoimiya’s burst when her burst is active to trigger Overload damage with both her Electro DMG and Yoimiya’s Pyro explosion. She can be replaced with another DPS character. Having two Electro characters will also generate more Electro particles when triggering an Electro reaction. Lastly, Bennett will heal the team and power up their ATK with his burst. He and Yoimiya will also grant the team a permanent ATK increase with the Pyro team buff.
The only 5-star weapon that can weapon for a burst support build for Yoimiya is the Elegy for the End. This weapon has a passive in Energy Recharge and will also boost Elemental Mastery. When Yoimiya’s skill or burst hits an enemy she will gain a Sigil of Remembrance. When 4 are collected, nearby party members will be granted increased elemental mastery and ATK for 12 seconds. Once the buff is triggered, Yoimiya will not gain any Sigil of Remembrance for 20 seconds. This bow works well for a burst support Yoimiya whose main role is to boost the damage of her team when she uses her burst. The Blazing Arrow from her elemental skill counts as normal attack damage and will not gain any sigils. Any of the 5-star weapons will work for this build if you don’t have access to the Elegy for the End. Yoimiya will have to make up for the loss of Energy Recharge in her weapon with her artifact stats:
The recommended 4-star weapon for this build is the Favonius Warbow. It has an Energy Recharge passive and can generate energy for the entire team when Yoimiya scores a critical hit. The Stringless can also work to boost Yoimiya’s elemental mastery for extra reaction damage. It will also increase the power of her elemental skill and burst. However, this passive skill will only boost the damage of her burst because her elemental skill does no damage on its own.
Yoimiya’s recommended weapon is the Emblem of Severed Fate. This artifact set increases her Energy Recharge and boosts the power of her burst by a portion of her Energy Recharge stat. It will be difficult to fully max out the buff, but having 200% Energy Recharge will still give you a 50% increase to Yoimiya’s burst damage. You can also use a 2-piece Noblesse Oblige and Crimson Witch of Flames to boost both her elemental burst damage and Pyro DMG. A 4-piece Crimson Witch of Flames will also work to boost Pyro DMG and Pyro reaction damage.
For Yoimiya’s artifact stats:
- Sands: Energy Recharge%
- Goblet: Pyro DMG%
- Circlet: Crit DMG% or Crit Rate
For the sub-stats, look for EM, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and ATK%.
Recommended Party Members
Diona will shield Yoimiya from damage and can also heal with her burst. If you have her at C6, Diona’s burst will provide more healing and a large elemental buff to any character within its range. She can be replaced with another shield character like Zhongli.
Bennett will provide the Pyro team buff with Yoimiya to boost the party’s ATK. His burst will also increase Yoimiya’s damage and heal.
Xingqiu’s burst will work alongside Yoimiya’s Pyro arrows to deal Vaporize damage to the enemy. He can also heal and reduce the damage she takes from enemies with his Rain Sword. He can be replaced with another support character of a sub-DPS.
Fischl’s elemental skill can deal Electro DMG, even if she is not on the field. She will also be used with Beidou to generate more energy for their bursts.
Beidou can be replaced with any main DPS. Her burst allows her to trigger Electro DMG with her normal attack, syncing with Yoimiya’s burst that can trigger an explosion every 2 seconds.
Advantages | Disadvantages |
---|---|
Homing charged attack | Burst explosion does not trigger with her own attacks |
Elemental skill allows her normal attack to deal Pyro DMG | Low energy recharge with elemental skill |
Using burst boosts the ATK of nearby allies | Long cool down of elemental skill |
Conclusion

Naganohara Yoimiya is a cheerful and bright girl with a passion for fireworks. As a main DPS, she comes with the ability to infuse her arrows with Pyro DMG and can also home in on nearby enemies with her charged shot. Her burst allows her teammates to trigger explosions when they hit a marked enemy. However, she cannot trigger this explosion herself and only 1 enemy will be marked she uses her burst. Overall, her normal attack and skill focus on DPS, while her burst is more suited for support.
