The Husk of Opulent Dreams and Ocean-Hued Clam artifact sets were released with the 2.3 Inazuma update of Genshin Impact. The artifact set is obtained by defeating the Slumbering Court Domain. Here are some general tips on clearing the domain and the best characters to use these artifacts on!

Slumbering Court

The Slumbering Court is a domain in Inazuma, located on Seirai Island. The ley line disorder of this domain increases the Electro DMG of your characters by 40%. When an active party member, triggers the Electro-charge reaction, a shockwave will be unleashed on the enemy and deal True DMG. This shockwave can be generated every 3 seconds. Due to the ley line disorder of the Slumbering Court, it is recommended to bring Hydro and Electro characters. The objective of the domain is to defeat enemies within a set time, depending on the stage you choose.

At Slumbering Court IV, you will be facing against Rifthounds that can apply the corrosion effect on your characters to make them lose health, regardless if they are protected by a shield. Bring healers like Kokomi or Barbara to make sure your party remains healthy.

Husk of Opulent Dreams

2-Piece Bonus: DEF +30%

4-Piece Bonus: A character equipped with this Artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s.
When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

The Husk of Opulent Dreams grants the character increased DEF and access to the Curiosity effect. The character can gain up to 4 stacks of Curiosity that will boost their DEF and Geo DMG, depending on the number of stacks. A stack is gained when the enemy is hit with a Geo attack when on the field, but can also be gained every 3 seconds a character is off the field. A stack is lost if another one is not gained within 6 seconds. The effects of the Husk of Opulent Dreams are very limited to a small group of Geo characters that has DEF scaling and easy access to Geo attacks with their skills. The number of Curiosity cracks will appear on the character when one is gained or lost.

Arataki Itto can benefit from both the increased Geo DMG and DEF bonus from Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set. During the duration of his burst, a portion of his DEF stat is converted into ATK, and he will also be able to deal Geo DMG with his normal attack.

Main DPS: 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams

Albedo is the best example of a character that can fully benefit from the Husk of Opulent Dreams. His skill has a short cooldown and can deal Geo DMG every 2 seconds. He is best used as an off-field support, allowing him to easily generate a Curiosity every 3 seconds. His skill also scales off based on his defense, allowing him to deal increased damage with this set. At C2, his burst will also be able to scale off his DEF as well.

Skill Support: 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams

Burst Support: 2-piece Archaic Petra & Noblesse Oblige

A portion of Noelle’s DEF will be converted to ATK when her burst is used and will also convert her normal attack into Geo DMG. This allows Noelle to benefit from the increased DEF and Geo DMG of the Husk of Opulent Dreams as a DPS. Her healing also scales from her DEF stat. It will be hard to maintain the stacks of Curiosity when her burst is not in use, so she will have to switch out to avoid losing all her stacks. The cooldown of her elemental skill is also 24 seconds, making it hard to obtain stacks with it.

Main DPS: 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams

As an off-field support, Yun Jin can easily gain stacks of Curiosity to raise her DEF and Geo DMG. The increased DEF will boost the buff she provides with her burst.

Main DPS: 4-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams

Ocean-Hued Clam

Ocean-Hued Clam

2-Piece Bonus: Healing Bonus +15%

4-Piece Bonus: When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing). At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing.
(This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but it is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses).
Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds. Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing). There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time.
This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

The Ocean-hued Clam artifact set boosts the healing bonus of your character, while also allowing them to deal physical damage with the effects of the Sea-Dyed Foam. The Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds when the equipped wearer heals a character in your party. Any healing done in those 3 seconds will be absorbed by the foam in addition to recovering your HP. The absorption will still work even if your character has full HP and can’t heal anymore. At the end of the duration, 90% of the absorbed healing will be dealt back as physical damage to nearby enemies. Only one foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds and they have a limit of 30,000 HP, allowing up to 27000 damage that can dealt with the Sea-Dyed Foam. The effects can be triggered even if the wearer is not on the field. The Ocean-hued Clam allows her healer to deal additional damage with the amount of health that they restore on your team, while also boosting the amount healed with the 2-piece effect. Any healer can make use of the 4-piece to be a sub-DPS.

Kokomi is an excellent healer that can benefit from the 4-piece Ocean-hued Clam to deal physical damage to the enemy. Her elemental skill can also heal when she is not on the field, but it is stationary so the enemies must be near it when the foam deals damage.

Sub-DPS Build: 4-piece Ocean-hued Clam

Barbara is a free-to-obtain healer that can’t do a lot of damage on her own. The Ocean-hued Clam will allow her to deal damage, especially with her burst since it doesn’t deal damage on its own, but will recover a large chunk of your party’s health.

Sub-DPS Build: 4-piece Ocean-hued Clam

Qiqi’s elemental skill can heal over time, while her burst can apply a talisman on the enemy and regenerate health for the party when the marked enemy is damaged. Her talisman also has a chance to appear on attacked enemies with her ascension 4 talent. This set will allow Qiqi to deal damage while also healing the team.

Sub-DPS Build: 4-piece Ocean-hued Clam

Shinobu’s elemental skill can heal the active character and will deal additional physical damage with the Ocean-hued Clam.

Sub-DPS Build: 4-piece Ocean-hued Clam
