The Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter artifact sets were released with the 2.6 update in Genshin Impact. The artifact set is obtained by defeating The Lost Valley Domain located in the Chasm. Here are some general tips on clearing the domain and the best characters to use these artifacts on!

The Lost Valley

The Lost Valley Domain

The Lost Vallet Domain’s leyline disorder creates a shockwave that will deal True DMG to enemies when a character uses their elemental skill. This allows characters to easily deal damage to the enemies inside. Bring characters with short cooldowns on their elemental skill like Albedo to constantly trigger this shockwave

It is recommended to bring healers and support characters to boost the damage of your team while keeping them healthy. The Ruin Guard within will deal heavy amounts of damage to your characters. You can also bring a shield generator like Zhongli. A freeze team can also be handy to keep the enemies in place.

Echoes of an Offering

Soulscent Bloom

Echoes of an Offering

2-Piece Bonus: ATK +18%

4-Piece Bonus: When Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger Valley Rite, which will increase Normal Attack DMG by 70% of ATK. This effect will be dispelled 0.05s after a Normal Attack deals DMG. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of it triggering the next time will increase by 20%. This trigger can occur once every 0.2s.

The Echoes of an Offering artifact set provides extra attack and a boost to a character’s normal attack damage with the Valley Rite effect. The 2-piece bonus is a universal ATK bonus that will work with any character looking to increase their ATK stat. The Gladiator’s Finale and Shimenawa’s Reminiscence offer the same 2-piece bonus.

The 4-piece bonus has a chance to increase the normal attack damage of characters when their normal attack hits an opponent. If the effects aren’t triggered, then the chances of gaining the buff will be increased the next time a normal attack is used to hit enemies. The buff is also cleared when the normal attack is used to deal damage with the Valley Rite buff in effect. Its condition and buff are not consistent and effects are cleared after the increased damage is dealt to enemies.

The best characters to use the Echoes of an Offering artifact on are those who rely on their normal attack to deal damage. It is not a set recommended for claymore users as their attack speed is often lower than other weapon types. You will want fast attackers like swords and pole-arms to maximize your chances of triggering the effects. There are some exceptions like Razor whose burst increases his attack speed. The 2-piece ATK bonus will work on any character to gain extra ATK.

Ayato’s elemental skill converts his normal attack into rapid slashes of Hydro damage. This will allow him to activate the effects of the Echoes of an Offering set. However, if you want to go for more consistent damage, the Heart of Depth is the better option for him.

Main DPS: 4-Heart of Depth | 4-piece Echoes of an Offering

Razor’s burst boosts his attack speed, allowing him to trigger the effects of Echoes of an Offering. However, like the other characters on this list, there are other artifact sets that you can use on him.

Main DPS: 4-piece Echoes of an Offering | 4-piece Gladiator’s Finale

Tartaglia’s elemental skill allows him to turn his attack into melee Hydro DMG, allowing him to easily trigger the Echoes of an Offering bonus. Like Ayato, the Heart of Depth will offer him more consistent damage.

Main DPS: 4-Heart of Depth | 4-piece Echoes of an Offering

Yomiya’s elemental skill converts her normal attack into Pyro DMG and also has a fast attack speed.

Main DPS: 4-piece Echoes of an Offering

Although Fischl can only deal physical damage with her normal attack. Her fast attack speed also allows her to rapidly hit enemies.

Main DPS: 4-piece Echoes of an Offering

Vermillion Hereafter

Flowering Life

Vermillion Hereafter

2-Piece Bonus: ATK +18%

4-Piece Bonus: After using an Elemental Burst. this character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character’s HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur this way maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.

The Vermillion Hereafter 2-piece bonus boosts ATK for the equipped character, which is generally a good boost for any character. Its 4-piece bonus is hard to use and requires the character to lose health after using their elemental burst. The Nascent Light effect increases the character’s attack and will further increase if their health is decreased. The requirement of this artifact set can make it hard to use, especially if you are using a shield. However, it works great when paired with Xiao whose burst constantly drains his health in exchange for increased Anemo DMG.

Xiao is currently the only character that can fully benefit from the effects of the Vermillion Hereafter. His burst drains his health, allowing him to gain the stacks of Nascent Light to further increase his attack.

Main DPS: 4-piece Vermillion Hereafter
